Summer Internship 2021: Business and Marketing - (SI2021BM)
The Knowledge and Education Exchange Platform (KEEP) is a project to empower educators and learners with impactful resources and innovative technologies for lifelong education. Established in 2014, KEEP has already hosted over 700 online courses and cooperated with over 3,000 institutions around the world. We believe that if you empower teachers with resources and innovative technology, you can impact the next generation in education.

The business and marketing team is looking for a summer internship during the summer period (June 1, 2021, through August 31, 2021). For more details, please refer to the following responsibilities and requirements.

We welcome students from all disciplines to apply. The position follows the guidelines from the Student Helpers Engagement Scheme (SHES) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Incomplete or wrong applications will not be considered. Review of applications will start as soon as possible and continue until May 4, 2021 (Tuesday), or until the post is filled, whichever is earlier.
Responsibilities
    • Manage marketing materials, including copywriting and translation, media relations, collateral production, and marketing communications
    • Responsible for executing and promoting marketing campaigns (i.e. social media) and events/summits
    • Coordinate pre and post-production tasks including video editing and photos and images editing
    • Edit, re-order and fine-tune the content of videos by inserting music, dialogue, sound or image effects, etc. to ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions and running of the video
    • Assist in eLearning research projects (e.g. data collection and literature review)
    • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
    • Solid written and verbal skills in English
    • Solid written and verbal skills in Chinese / Cantonese / Mandarin is advantageous
    • Proficiency with G-Suites (e.g. Docs, Spreadsheet, Slides)
    • Familiarity with social media account management (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin)
    • Knowledge of video-editing software (e.g. Premiere Pro, iMovie) is advantageous
    • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is advantageous
    • Research and analytical knowledge (e.g. Google analytics) is advantageous
    • Sense of responsibility is mandatory
    • Proactive and well-organized personalities
    • Preference will be given to a full-time non-final year student
