Large-scale student achievement data within (e.g., NAEP) or across countries (e.g., PISA, PIRLS and TIMSS) offer important insights into the directions of educational policy reform and ways to facilitate school improvement.
Policy makers and scholars from Asian countries/economies (including Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong), whose students have performed outstandingly in international achievement tests, will share their experiences and lessons on education policy and reforms.
