Event Highlights - 28 January 2015

The APRU CIO Forum offers an opportunity for CIOs of major universities in the Pacific Rim region to discuss and share experience on a wide spectrum of issues related to the governance and management of the IT/IS function, the effective deployment of teaching and learning technologies, and the application of IT/IS to support the education and research goals of the University.

Speakers are CIOs and senior administrators of universities.

To facilitate discussion and sharing, the number of participants is limited to around 30. The ERT Forum, held in conjunction with the CIO Forum, addresses the integrative aspects of ICT services and technologies in support of the wide array of education and research activities at the University level.

This year, the two-day ERT Forum will focus on e-Learning and the emerging discipline of MOOCs. Speakers are pioneers in developing MOOCs and academics who have designed and offered MOOCs to participants worldwide.

Experts in e-Learning production will also share their experience in developing online courses. Academics, registrars, university administrators, quality control experts, IT professionals, and course developers are welcome to attend the ERT Forum.
